Milka is one of the first pieces from the series UNFRAMED. Two pieces of violet canvas copy outlines of a well-known cow from products of the largest food company around the world – of the Mondelez Europe Services corporation, the artwork itself refers to the two levels of our perception. Firstly, it refers to the cult of hunting trophies and their hanging on a wall, in which the parallels to the exhibition operation of art and collection may be perceived. Secondly, it denotes to the blurring of geopolitical borders of the continents, which is experienced by our society through the undergoing massive globalization and under economic direction of supranational concerns.
