The intervention in the Dean’s office of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno Univerity of Technology reflects, above all, the condition and ideological status of the interior. The office equipped with standard unit furniture is an example of a formal solution to the interior without any significant economic demands, nevertheless going as far as denying any representative or specific character of the importance of the office.
The iconographic logo of the design legend, the Kartell Company, made of one od the cheapest materials available (i.e. hardboard), paraphrases this situation and refers to the office’s function in which key management and political decisions, essential for the school management, are taken.
